Recipe for tereré (iced maté)

Ingredients of tereré (iced maté)
- Peach Mate / Mint Mate
- hot water (not more than 80°)
- Ice cubes
- Optional: peach syrup / mint leaves / lemon zest
Preparation of iced mate
As mate is only infused at high temperatures, you will first need to infuse your peach or mint mate in a cup or thermos and let it cool until it reaches room temperature.
Pour a few ice cubes into a cup, then add your maté.
🍑 Peach mate:
For a sweet touch, you can add a little peach syrup to the bottom of your cup as well as some lemon zest for a tangy side.
🌿 Mint Mate:Bring a few fresh mint leaves and agave syrup if you want to add a sweet note.
Presentation: you can add a few slices of lemon to add a slightly tangy side!
